In the past few years…

Mike Chearney, has shown his unique color drivien paintings worldwide alongside many of his childhood idols; Chagall, Miro, Picasso, Dali, Hockney, Moses, Graham, Basquiat, and Ruscha, A second career fine artist, he began painting at 40 and is honored to hang with many contemporary trailblazers like Damien Hirst, Shepard Fairey, Carlos Bentancourt and Kelly Berg.

It all started when…

Mike took a leap of faith in 2005 and left his career as a Madison Avenue Creative Director to pursue to his passion for a life outside the lines. A self-taught painter, inspired by his early Baltimore childhood, Mike continues to pioneer a new energetic style of painting. Calling himself an abstract energetic painter, he believes art can transmit it’s own positively charged energy field lifting the viewer’s experience and his environment they inhabit. Chearney’s work explores color and texture signatures that open a window to a new dimension of seeing and feeling art previously unseen to many.
